Good deal on Matilda tickets

I was looking for cheap tickets for Matilda The Musical and found a family ticket deal through LW Theatres. It saved us a good chunk of money compared to buying individual seats. The process was straightforward, and we got great seats at the Cambridge Theatre. Felt like a solid purchase for the price.

Starlight Express delivery was slow

I bought tickets for Starlight Express. The show itself was great, really enjoyed it at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. However, the tickets took 6 days to reach my friend's place in Manchester. I thought they would be quicker, maybe an e-ticket option could have sped things up. Still, the seats were good, and we had a fun night out.

Hamilton was amazing

I finally saw Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre through LW Theatres, and it was absolutely fantastic! I got an early bird offer for a weekday performance, which was a nice little saving. The whole experience from booking to showtime was smooth. The theatre was beautiful, and the staff were really helpful. I'm already planning my next trip to see Frozen The Musical. Definitely will recommend this to all my friends!

Easy tickets for Frozen

Got Frozen The Musical tickets for my niece's birthday. The website was super easy to use, no fuss at all. We had a great time, though the seats felt a little cramped. Still, a good experience overall.

Good show, slow delivery

I bought tickets for Back to the Future The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre. The booking process was smooth enough, and the show itself was fantastic. However, I opted for physical tickets, and they took almost two weeks to arrive, which made me a bit anxious. Digital tickets might be faster next time. The value for the experience was definitely there.

Les Mis tickets were fantastic!

Oh my goodness, I just had to leave a review! I bought Les Miserables tickets for a show at the Sondheim Theatre and it was absolutely brilliant! The whole process, from choosing seats to getting the e-tickets, was so simple. I'm already planning my next trip to see Back to the Future The Musical. Can't wait! I will definitely shop here again!

Consistent, reliable for tickets

I've bought tickets from LW Theatres a few times now, and they're always consistent. This time I got Frozen The Musical tickets for my niece. The booking process was just as smooth as when I got Hamilton tickets last year. Confirmation came fast, and e-tickets were easy to access. It's why I keep coming back; no surprises, which is good when planning a special outing.

Phantom tickets and service

I purchased two tickets for The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre. The online booking system was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear seating plan. I had a quick question about pre-ordering interval drinks, so I used their customer service chat, and they responded within minutes, which was helpful. The theatre itself was beautiful, and the show was incredible. My only minor complaint is that the theatre program seemed a bit overpriced, but that's a small detail. The whole process, from selecting seats to attending the performance, was very well managed.

Thinking of getting tickets for Frozen for my niece. How strict are they on age limits for shows like that? She's 4.

M Mary W. 1 month ago
Most kid-friendly shows like Frozen are pretty good with younger ones, but sometimes there's a minimum age or a recommendation. Best to check the specific show's page on their site to be sure. They might not allow under 3s, for example, even if they're quiet.

I took my little one to Matilda when she was 5 and they were totally fine. As long as she's not a distraction, you should be good. Just make sure she can sit through it!

Anyone know if there's a dress code for the London Palladium? Planning to go to a concert there but not sure if I need to be all fancy or if jeans are fine.

W William Martinez 1 month ago
Nah, not really a dress code these days. It's West End, so some people dress up for a nice night out, but you'll see plenty of people in jeans and trainers too. Just be comfortable, no one cares.

Nah, don't worry about it. It's pretty chill. Unless it's a super fancy gala night or something specific, casual is totally fine. I went in smart casual for a play and saw everything from full suits to t-shirts.

Hey guys, thinking of booking Hamilton tickets for next month. Does LW Theatres do those day seats thing? Tried to find them on the site but no luck.

B Brittany D. 1 month ago
Yeah they do day seats for some shows! But it's usually for specific performances, like last minute ones or mid-week. You gotta keep an eye on their social media or the specific show pages on their site, they don't always advertise them super obviously.

L Lisa Ramirez 1 month ago
Afaik, day seats are more of a 'luck of the draw' thing, sometimes they pop up. But don't expect a consistent schedule for Hamilton, it's so popular. Maybe try checking on the day you want to go, sometimes they release them then.

Quick question on returns, my friend might not be able to make it to Starlight Express. Can you swap tickets or get a refund if something comes up?

A Amanda T. 1 month ago
I think they do exchanges sometimes, but there might be a fee and it's usually for another date of the same show. Refunds are super rare unless the show gets cancelled or something. Best to check their T&Cs or just call customer service, they're pretty clear about it.

I tried to change my Matilda tickets once and they were pretty strict. I think you can usually exchange for a different date for the same show, but definitely not a full refund unless it's their fault. You'd probably have to pay a small admin fee too.

Does LW Theatres have like, student discounts or anything similar? Or Blue Light Card stuff?

M Matt Mitchell 3 weeks ago
I've never seen specific student discounts directly from LW Theatres. Sometimes other sites might have them, but their own deals are usually more about day seats or seasonal sales.
2
B Ben 3 weeks ago
Blue Light Card isn't usually a thing directly with them either, from what I've seen. Your best bet for cheaper tickets is definitely those day seat drops or looking out for their big sales like Black Friday.

I'm thinking of getting a group together for Frozen, like 10-12 people. Do they do any kind of group discount or is it just full price for everyone?

M Michael Parker 3 weeks ago
They definitely do group discounts! I booked for Les Mis with about 15 people and got a decent chunk off. You usually have to call them or fill out a form on the site, I don't think it's an automatic thing when you're just adding to cart.

A Abigail J. 3 weeks ago
Yep, group rates are a thing. Check their 'plan your visit' or 'offers' sections, usually there's info there on how many people you need for it to kick in and who to contact.

Heard about 'day seats' for LW Theatres. How do those actually work? Do I just show up early?

L Linda Sanchez 1 month ago
Nah, you usually have to be quick online for day seats. They release a limited number for certain shows each day, often early morning, for that day's performance. It's not really a physical queue thing anymore for most places, I think.

B Brandon Flores 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty much all digital now. Keep an eye on their site or social media for when they drop. You gotta be fast though, they sell out in minutes sometimes.

Are tickets from LW Theatres legit? I've heard some horror stories about fake tickets from other sites and wanna make sure before I drop a bunch on Wicked for my mum's birthday.

S Stephanie Lewis 3 weeks ago
Totally legit! LW Theatres is the official Andrew Lloyd Webber group, they own the actual venues like Apollo Victoria where Wicked plays. You're buying direct, so no worries about fakes.

M Mary W. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they're the real deal. Bought tickets for Phantom from them last year, no issues at all. Safer than those resale sites for sure.
